2018 Bohemian F.C. Season
The 2018 season was Bohemian F.C.'s 128th year in existence as a football club. The club participated in the 2018 League of Ireland Premier Division, League of Ireland Premier Division, the 2018 FAI Cup, FAI Cup, the 2018 League of Ireland Cup, EA Sports Cup and was also involved in the 2018–19 Scottish Challenge Cup known as the IRN-BRU Cup. Club Kits The club's traditional red and black stripes were provided by Hummel International, Hummel this season. On 25 May 2018, the club announced a special edition jersey for the remarkable FAI Cup run. The mainly white shirt featured a red and black diagonal stripe, which had the name of every supporter, who bought the jersey woven into the fabric. Derek Pender
Derek Pender (born 2 October 1983) is an Irish football manager and former footballer who played as a full-back for the League of Ireland clubs Shelbourne, Dublin City, Shamrock Rovers, Bray Wanderers, St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians. Managerial career Early career Upon his retirement from playing for Bohemian F.C. in League of Ireland after the 2019 season, Pender joined the club's youth academy as the U17 manager on 7 January 2020. Crumlin United
Crumlin United Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Crumlin, Dublin. Founded in 1967, the club is one of the biggest producers of football talent in Ireland. They are linked with Nottingham Forest. Their main rival is Cherry Orchard. The club currently has teams in the Dublin District Schoolboys League and Leinster Senior League. Shane Supple
Shane Supple (born 4 May 1987) is an Irish coach and former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. In 2015, he made a return to competitive football, after initially retiring in 2009, by signing for non-league Crumlin United, before returning to top-flight football in 2016 when he signed for Bohemians Prior to his initial retirement, he spent his career mainly with Ipswich Town, having been a graduate of Ipswich's youth system. He also played for Falkirk and Oldham Athletic and was capped once by the Republic of Ireland U21 side. Chris Bennion (born 30 August 1980, in Edinburgh) is a Scottish former football player. He is currently 1st team Goalkeeping coach with Bohemian Football Club. Football career Chris Bennion is a former professional goalkeeper, currently head goal keeping coach at league of ireland club Bohemian. He began his career with Edinburgh Celtic as a youth and later joined the youth set up at Heart of Midlothian. In 1997, he joined English side Middlesbrough but made just one first team appearance and was loaned out to Scunthorpe United during his time at the Riverside Stadium. Trevor Croly, (born 23 February 1974), is an Irish football coach and former player who is currently assistant manager of Bohemians in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Playing career Drogheda United Croly started his career with Drogheda United signing a one-year amateur deal under Pat Devlin. He made his League of Ireland debut at the RDS Arena against Shamrock Rovers on the opening day of the 1992–93 League of Ireland Premier Division season.
