The 2018 season was Bethlehem Steel FC's third season of competitive soccer in the United Soccer League and second season competing in the second division of American soccer. Steel FC competed in the league's Eastern Conference. Roster Transfers In Out Loan in Competitions Preseason USL regular season The 2018 USL season will be contested by 33 teams, 16 of which compete in the league's Eastern Conference. All teams will play a regular season total of 34 matches between teams within their respective conference. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams from each conference advance to the 2018 USL Playoffs for a chance to compete for the USL Championship Title. Philadelphia Union II
Philadelphia Union II is an American professional association football, soccer team based in Chester, Pennsylvania competing in MLS Next Pro. Founded in 2015 as Bethlehem Steel FC, the team is the official affiliate of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. The team competed for five seasons in the USL Championship (the first three as Bethlehem Steel FC) before going on hiatus from competition during the 2021 season. The club's current colors are navy blue and gold. Omar Holness
Omar Duke Holness (born 13 March 1994) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Jamaican national team. Holness played college soccer in the United States before being drafted by Major League Soccer outfit Real Salt Lake in 2016. He also played for USL team Bethlehem Steel before joining English club Darlington in 2019. He later played for Bath City and Gloucester City in England and Jaro in Finland before returning to English football with Hednesford Town in 2024. The Stanford Cardinal men's soccer team represents Stanford University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The Cardinal play in the ACC. Their first season as a varsity program was in 1973. The Cardinal have appeared in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament 19 times since 1973, including 14 times in the 23 seasons from 1997 to 2019. Drew Skundrich (born September 17, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who currently plays for Loudoun United FC in the USL Championship. Career Youth and college Skundrich grew up in Pennsylvania, where he attended Hempfield High School. He played four years of college soccer at Stanford University between 2014 and 2017, where he made 82 appearances, scoring 9 goals and tallying 13 assists. He was captain his junior and senior year. The Wisconsin Badgers men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. The 2018 Philadelphia Union season was the club's ninth season in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. The team was managed by Jim Curtin, his fifth season with the club.
