The 2018 Barcelona GP3 Series round was a motor racing event held on 12 and 13 May 2018 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Catalonia, Spain. It was the opening round of the 2018 GP3 Series, and ran in support of the 2018 Spanish Grand Prix. Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license. Until 2013 the track was known only as the ''Circuit de Catalunya'', before a sponsorship deal with Barcelona City Council added Barcelona to the track's title. William Palmer (born 15 February 1997) is a British Motor racing driver, the son of Jonathan Palmer and brother of Jolyon Palmer. He is a past winner of the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. He won the BRDC F4 Championship in 2015 having previously won the 2014 BRDC Formula 4 Winter Championship. Gabriel "Gabi" Aubry (born 3 April 1998) is a French racing driver currently racing in the World Endurance Championship for Vector Sport.
