2017–18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by second-year head coach Josh Pastner and played their home games at Hank McCamish Pavilion as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 13–19, 6–12 in ACC play to finish in 13th place. They lost in the first round of the ACC tournament to Boston College. Josh Pastner
Joshua Paul Pastner (born September 26, 1977) is an American college basketball coach, and the current head coach of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Pastner was a player on the 1997 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball national championship team, and an assistant coach at the University of Arizona under Lute Olson and at the University of Memphis under John Calipari. He was named the 2013 ''Sporting News'' Conference USA Coach of the Year, and the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. The 2016–17 Belmont Bruins men's basketball team represented Belmont University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bruins, led by 31st-year head coach Rick Byrd, played their home games at the Curb Event Center in Nashville, Tennessee as members of the Ohio Valley Conference in the East Division. They finished the season 23–7, 15–1 in OVC play to win the regular season championship. In the OVC tournament, they lost in the semifinals to Jacksonville State. The Tennessee Volunteers Men's Basketball Team is the collegiate men's basketball program for the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. The 2016–17 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, led by head coach Jamie Dixon in his first season at TCU.
