The 2017–18 season was the club's fourth season since its establishment in 2014 and their fourth season in the Indian Super League. 2017–18 ISL Players Draft
The 2017–18 ISL Players Draft was a players draft conducted by the Indian Super League on 23 July 2017. Format Regulations for the 2017–18 Indian Super League season allow for each club to have a minimum of 15 Indian players and a maximum of 18, which include two mandatory under-21 players. Prior to the draft, each club was allowed to retain a maximum of two senior players from the previous season (2016–17 I-League for Bengaluru FC) as well as retaining up to three under-21 players. The draft had a total of 15 rounds. New expansion side, Jamshedpur FC, had the first pick in both the first and second rounds. Them and Delhi Dynamos, who didn't retain a single player from the previous season, were the only sides who participate in the first round of the draft. Gabriel Alejandro Cichero Konarek (born 25 April 1984) is a Venezuelan former professional who played as a centre-back or left back. Personal life He is the son of Mauro Cichero who was a professional football player and represented Venezuela in the 1980 Olympics. Al Wakrah ( ar, الوكرة, al-Wakra) is the capital city of the Al Wakrah Municipality in Qatar. David Ngaihte (born 16 December 1989) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Tollygunge Agragami. Career Early career With the motive to excel in academics and to get access to better education, David Ngaihte was sent to Delhi. In the capital, while practising with friends in the evening, as is a norm with the North Eastern guys, a Delhi club named Goodwill FC sported him and offered him to play for them in 2008. Even then, the college going David Ngaihte wasn't serious about the offer but took it up just for the sake of playing the game he loves.
