2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the nineteenth edition of the Asian Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI). The tournament was held in both Biñan and Muntinlupa, Philippines from 9 to 17 August 2017. Qualification The fourteen AVC member associations were submit their women's national team to the 2017 Asian Volleyball Championship. The fourteen AVC member associations were from four zonal associations, including, Central Asia (4 teams), East Asia (5 teams), Oceania (2 teams), and Southeast Asia (3 teams). While West Asian teams did not submit any their women's national team. Qualified teams The following teams qualified for the tournament. Maldives qualified for the first tournament. Biñan
Biñan (), officially the City of Biñan ( fil, Lungsod ng Biñan), is a 1st class component city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. Nana Iwasaka (岩坂名奈 ''Iwasaka Nana'', born July 3, 1990) is a retired Japanese people, Japanese volleyball player who plays for Hisamitsu Springs. Life She was born in 1990 in Fukuoka City. Iwasaka was part of the Japanese national team that won the 2011 Montreux Volley Masters, 2011 Montreux Volley Masters in Switzerland. Nana retired in 2021. Sarina Koga
is a Japanese volleyball player who won the bronze medal at the 2013 U23 World Championship with the Japan's U23 national team. She also competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Women's volleyball Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summ .... 2018 AVC Cup For Women
The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2018 AVC Cup for Women was the sixth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 16 to 23 September 2018.
