2016–17 N1 League
The 2016–17 N1 League was the ninth season of the N1 League and the first year the competition was branded as ''N1 League''. Seven clubs participated in the competition following a two-season hiatus. The teams played in an unknown length regular season that began on 29 October 2016 and ended on 19 February 2017. The top four clubs based on their regular season standings qualified for the ''Final Four'' segment of the tournament, which determined the champion of the season. The semifinals were played in a two-leg aggregate series, while the championship round was played in a best two-of-three series. Defending champions, Highlights won the title, winning the series 2-0 against Youths of the Future in the final. It was Highlights' fifth Nevisian title. 2018 CFU Club Championship
The 2018 Caribbean Club Championship was the 20th edition of the Caribbean Club Championship (also known as the CFU Club Championship), the first-tier annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), a sub-confederation of CONCACAF. The winners of the 2018 CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship would qualify to the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League, the second and third place teams would qualify to the 2018 CONCACAF League, while the fourth place team would play against the winners of the 2018 CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield, as long as the Shield winners fulfill the CONCACAF Regional Club Licensing criteria, in a playoff match to determine the final Caribbean spot to the 2018 CONCACAF League. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins. This is sometimes expressed by saying that away goals "count double" in the event of a tie, though in practice the team with more away goals is simply recorded as the victor, rather than having additional or 'double' goals added to their total. The away goals rule is most often invoked in two-leg fixtures, where the initial result is determined by the aggregate score — i.e. the scores of both games are added together. The 2016–17 Saint Kitts Premier Division, alternatively known as the SNKFA Super League, is the 37th season of the Saint Kitts Premier Division, the top division of football in Saint Kitts. The league consists of 10 clubs that play 24 matches with a three-match series against each other club. The regular season began on 10 September 2016 and ended on 14 May 2017.
