Brisbane Heat
The Brisbane Heat are an Australian professional franchise men's and women's cricket team, competing in Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League (BBL). The Heat are the successors of the Queensland Bulls who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The Heat wear a teal uniform and are based in Brisbane in the Australian state Queensland (Australia), Queensland. Their home ground is the Brisbane Cricket Ground, also known as The Gabba. The inaugural coach was Darren Lehmann who was the assistant to head coach Wade Seccombe, who then stepped down after winning the 2023–24 Big Bash League season, BBL13 title. Liam O'Connor (cricketer)
Liam O'Connor (born 20 June 1993) is an Australian cricketer. He was previously contracted with the Western Warriors, Western Australia's state team, but initially he did not play any first-class or List A matches for the state. Since 2016, he has played for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League, being brought into the squad for BBL06 as an injury replacement, winning the tournament with the team in BBL07. In 2019, he made his first-class and List A debuts for Western Australia. Cricket career O'Connor first started to gain attention in the 2014–15 season playing grade cricket in Perth for Bayswater-Morley District Cricket Club. In 15 games in the premier division he took 29 wickets, enough to earn himself a rookie contract with the Western Warriors, Western Australia's state team, for the 2015–16 season. Stuart Christopher John Broad (born 24 June 1986) is an English former cricketer who played Test cricket for the England cricket team and was One Day and Twenty20 International captain. Broad was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20. Fawad Ahmed (; born 10 March 1979) is an Australian former cricketer. Born in Pakistan, he was granted Australian citizenship in July 2013. In August and September 2013, he played for the Australian cricket team in both a T20I and an ODI series against England. Career Born in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Ahmed began playing cricket for Swabi District in local competitions. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Samuel Badree (born 8 March 1981) is a former Trinidadian cricketer and cricket coach who played international cricket for the West Indies. He is a right-arm leg-spin bowler.
