2016 TCR International Series Buriram Round
The 2016 TCR International Series Buriram round was the eighth round of the 2016 TCR International Series season. It took place on 27–28 August at the Chang International Circuit. Pepe Oriola won the first race, starting from pole position and James Nash gained the second one, both driving a SEAT León TCR. Ballast Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Stefano Comini received +30 kg, Mikhail Grachev +20 kg and Jean-Karl Vernay +10 kg. Chang International Circuit
The Buriram International Circuit (known as Chang International Circuit (ช้าง อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เซอร์กิต) for commercial purposes, but listed by its non-commercial name because of alcohol restrictions in some countries) is a motorsport race track in Buriram, Buriram Province, Thailand. The circuit was opened in 2014. This is the first FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A circuit in Thailand. The track's primary corporate sponsor, Chang Beer, named the track as part of the sponsorship; however, because of laws regarding alcohol sponsorship in France and Qatar, the circuit uses the non-commercial name in FIM documentation. Vattana Motorsport is a Thai auto racing team based in Bangkok, Thailand. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2016. Having previously raced in the Thailand Super Series amongst others. Jack Lemvard
Jack Lemvard (born 14 September 1984) is a Thai racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series and TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship. Having previously competed in the Thailand Super Series, Asian Touring Car Series and Formula BMW Asia amongst others. Racing career Lemvard began his career in 1998 in Karting, he raced there until 2006, winning two titles in 1998 and 2006. He switched to the Thai Toyota Vios Cup in 2006 and won the title that year. In 2007 he switched to the Thai Honda Pro Cup, winning the championship five times in a row from 2007-11. He also raced in the Benelux Formula Ford Championship and Formula BMW Asia in 2007. For 2008 he switched to the Asian Touring Car Series, taking seven wins on his way to winning the championship. Davit "Data" Kajaia ( ka, დავით "დათა" ქაჯაია; born 10 January 1984 in Tbilisi) is a Georgian racing driver, best known for winning the Legends Euro Nations Cup in 2012 and 2013. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 940) is a small family car ( C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Alfa Romeo as a 5-door hatchback. Production started near the end of 2009 and the model was introduced at the March 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The Giulietta placed second in the 2011 European Car of the Year awards. Petr Fulín (born 8 February 1977) is a Czech racing driver. He competed in the European Touring Car Cup, where he has won the championship twice. He is a former World Touring Car Championship driver, who made his debut in 2014. Racing career Fulín began his career in 2007 in the BMW 1 Challenge, finishing 2nd in championship.
