Each team in the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup had to name a 23-man squad (three of whom must be goalkeepers). Injury replacements were allowed until 24 hours before the team's first match. 2016 FIFA Club World Cup
The 2016 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2016 presented by Alibaba YunOS Auto for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club association football, football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions. The tournament was hosted by Japan. This edition marked the second time and first since 2008 FIFA Club World Cup, 2008 in which the CONMEBOL representative did not feature any clubs from Argentina or Brazil. Osmar Mares Martínez (born 17 June 1987) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Mares has been capped for the Mexico national team at the U-20 level, and played in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. Reinaldo Rueda Rivera (born 16 April 1957) is a Colombian football coach who currently serves as a manager for the Honduras national team. When he was the coach of the Colombia U-20 team, they finished 3rd at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. He also led the Colombia U-17 team to 4th at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship. After an unfavorable start to the 2006 World Cup qualification phase (only 1 point after 5 games) the Colombian Football Federation made Rueda the coach of the senior team. Andrés Felipe Ibargüen García (born 7 May 1992) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Categoría Primera A club Deportivo Pereira.
