2016 Cincinnati Bearcats Baseball Team
The 2016 Cincinnati Bearcats baseball team represents the University of Cincinnati during the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bearcats play their home games at Marge Schott Stadium as a member of the American Athletic Conference. They are led by head coach Ty Neal, in his third season at Cincinnati. the 2015 UC Baseball team was the youngest team in the nation last season and will be competing for that title again in 2016. The team features 29 underclassmen (14 freshmen, two redshirt freshmen, 12 sophomores and one redshirt sophomore) to just six upperclassmen (two juniors, one redshirt junior and three seniors). On March 21, 2016 Cincinnati defeated Northwestern 10–3 for the 8th straight win, also the 200th win at Marge Schott Stadium. Ty Neal
Tyson B. Neal is an American college baseball coach and former player. He served as head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball team from 2014 to 2017. Neal was a four-year letterman at Miami, earning 19 victories as a pitcher. He began his coaching career as an assistant with the RedHawks for one season before moving to Southern Illinois for three years. After a one-year return to Miami, he spent a year on staff at Cincinnati and an eight-year stint with Indiana, where he added pitching coach and recruiting coordinator duties. In 2013, he helped lead the Hoosiers to their first College World Series. On June 7, 2013, Neal was named head coach at Cincinnati, and took over the duties following Indiana's elimination from the 2013 College World Series. Pendleton, Indiana
Pendleton is a town in Fall Creek Township, Madison County, Indiana, United States. The population was 4,253 at the 2010 census. History Pendleton was platted in 1830, and incorporated as a town in 1854. It was named for town founder Thomas Pendleton. Frederick Douglass wrote of being attacked by a mob as he promoted the Abolition cause in 1843. His party had erected a platform in nearby woods.
