2015–16 Reading F.C. Season
The 2015–16 season was Reading F.C., Reading's 145th year in existence and third consecutive season in the Football League Championship, Championship, and covered the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. Reading finished the season 17th in the Championship, whilst also reaching the quarter-finals of the 2015–16 FA Cup, FA Cup and the Third Round of the 2015–16 Football League Cup, League Cup. Tarique Fosu
Tariqe Kumahl Malachi Akwesi Fosu (born 5 November 1995), sometimes known as Tariqe Fosu-Henry, is a professional footballer who plays as a left winger. Born in England, Fosu plays for the Ghana national team at international level. A product of the Reading academy, Fosu rose to prominence at Charlton Athletic and Oxford United, before transferring to Brentford in January 2020. After a -year spell and then a year out of football, he transferred to Northampton Town in 2024. Steven Reid
Steven John Reid (born 10 March 1981) is a former professional footballer who played as a right back, having previously played most of his career in midfield. Reid began his career with Millwall in 1998, moving to Blackburn Rovers five years later. After an initial loan spell, he joined West Bromwich Albion in 2010. His career was troubled by injury; he once notably played for 45 minutes against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium with a broken leg. Reid retired in 2015 after a season with Burnley. Born in England, he was cap (sport), capped 23 times at international level for the Republic of Ireland national football team, Republic of Ireland and scored two goals for them from 2001 to 2008. Dave Beasant
David John Beasant (; born 20 March 1959) is an English football coach and former goalkeeper. As a player, he was a goalkeeper, who notably played top-flight football for Wimbledon, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Southampton and Nottingham Forest. He also was on the books at Premier League teams Tottenham Hotspur, Wigan Athletic and Fulham, but failed to make an appearance for either. He spent the rest of his career in the Football League with Grimsby Town, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Bradford City and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as with non-league sides Edgware Town and North Greenford United. He played in Wimbledon's 1988 FA Cup victory, during which he became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in an FA Cup final, and the first goalkeeper since 1875 to lift the cup as captain of the winning team. Carabao Dang Energy Drink (; ; "red water buffalo") is a Thai energy drink launched in 2002 by Carabao Tawandang Co Ltd. It is now Thailand's second most popular energy drink, after Krating Daeng. 2015–16 Football League
The 2015–16 Football League (known as the Sky Bet Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 117th season of The Football League. It began on 7 August 2015 and concluded on 30 May 2016, with the League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium. The Football League was contested through three Divisions: the Championship, League One and League Two. The winners of the Championship, Burnley, and runners-up, Middlesbrough, were automatically promoted to the Premier League and on 28 May 2016 were joined by the winners of the Championship play-off, Hull City. The bottom two teams in League Two, Dagenham & Redbridge and York City, were relegated to the National League. Michael Hector
Michael Anthony James Hector (born 19 July 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back who plays for Dagenham & Redbridge. Born in England, he represents Jamaica at international level. Hector started his football journey at the Barking Abbey School 6th form academy. Then, Hector began his career in the youth teams at Millwall and Thurrock before moving to Reading in 2009 where he joined the academy. In his first two seasons at the club he spent time on loan at a succession of non-league sides including Didcot Town, Oxford City and Horsham.
