2015–16 FFU Regions' Cup
2015–16 FFU Regions' Cup (, ''Kubok rehioniv FFU'') was the first season of the Football Federation of Ukraine new competition at regional level. The competition is conducted among football teams of Oblasts (regions) composed of players who compete at oblast championships (regional competitions). The season kicked off on 20 September 2015 and all 25 participants were split into four divisions (Western, Central, Southern, and Eastern). The winner of the competition was intended to represent Ukraine at the 2017 UEFA Regions' Cup. Before introduction of this competition, Ukraine was represented at the UEFA Regions' Cup usually by the winner of its amateur league (on some occasion the winner of amateur cup competition). The competition was first played in the 2015 season and the winner receives the right to progress to the UEFA Regions' Cup which serves as similar continental competition. Before 2015 to the UEFA Regions' Cup were qualifying better Ukrainian amateur clubs of the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association and usually that had won the Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship. In 2015 the Football Federation of Ukraine organized a specific tournament for regions' representative football teams. The new tournament is not part of the national football amateur association (AAFU). FFU Council Of Regions
Regional football federations of Ukraine is associated members of Football Federation of Ukraine in regions of Ukraine. In 2000, Football Federation of Ukraine created Council of Regions for the development of football in the regions throughout the country. It was dissolved in 2010. Description There are 24 active members, while membership of other 3 association is suspended due to the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Each region conducts its own championship, while most of them has also the second and the third tiers of league competitions. Each region also conducts a regional cup competitions as well as some additional regional tournaments. Boryspil
Boryspil (, ) is a city and the administrative center of Boryspil Raion in Kyiv Oblast (region) in northern and central Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Boryspil urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Kolos Stadium (Boryspil)
Kolos Stadium is a multifunctional facility, primarily used for football and field hockey located in Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. Currently the Ukrainian Premier League football club Arsenal Kyiv plays their home games at the stadium. History The stadium was initially constructed after the Second World War and had a capacity for 7,500 spectators. In 1997 the facility was reconstructed and modernized with individual seating as well change rooms, a special medical room and massage facilities and new parking arena. Obukhiv (, ) is a city in Kyiv Oblast (oblast, province) of Ukraine and the administrative center of Obukhiv Raion. 2017 UEFA Regions' Cup
The 2017 UEFA Regions' Cup was the 10th edition of the UEFA Regions' Cup, a football competition for amateur teams in Europe organized by UEFA.
