2015–16 Euroleague
The 2015–16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 16th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the sixth under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 59th season of the premier competition for European men's professional basketball clubs. The 2016 Euroleague Final was played between CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahçe at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. CSKA Moscow defeated Fenerbahçe 101–96 on extra time in the final to win their seventh European Cup/Euroleague title. Uber Arena (previously #Naming rights, branded as O2 World and Mercedes-Benz Arena) is a multipurpose indoor arena in the Friedrichshain neighborhood of Berlin, Germany, which opened in 2008. The venue became known as Uber Arena following a long-term deal with venue operators AEG Europe in 2024. Panathinaikos Football Club B, known as Panathinaikos B, (Greek language, Greek: ΠΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός B) was a Greek football club based in Athens, Greece. 2014–15 Lega Basket Serie A
The 2014–15 Lega Basket Serie A was the 93rd season of the Lega Basket Serie A, the highest professional basketball league in Italy. The regular season started on 12 October 2014 and finished on 10 May 2015, after all teams had played 30 games each. The eight best ranked teams advanced to the play-off phase whilst Pasta Reggia Caserta was relegated to the Serie A2 after finishing last in the league table. The Basketball Bundesliga 2014–15 was the 49th season of the Basketball Bundesliga. The regular season started on 2 October 2014 and ended on 3 May 2015. The Playoffs started on 9 May and ended on 21 June 2015. Brose Baskets was the top seed in the regular season. The team also won the title, after it beat Bayern Munich 3–2 in the Finals. EuroLeague
The EuroLeague is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier and the most prestigious men's basketball league in Europe. The league consists of 20 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, subsequently by ULEB in 2000 and then solely by Euroleague Basketball.
