History Founding to World War II VfL Bochum is one of the oldest sports organizations in the world, claiming an origin date of 26 July 1848 when an article in the ''Märkischer Sprecher'' – a local newspaper – called for the creation of a gymnastics club. Beverungen
Beverungen () is a town in Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Location Beverungen lies in the Weser Uplands on the side of the Weser opposite Solling roughly 10 km south of Höxter. In parts of the eastern municipal area near the river, the town has a share of the Weser Valley, and to the west the higher Oberwälder Land natural region. In Beverungen (main town), the river Bever empties into the Weser. Geopolitically, Beverungen thereby lies in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia at the three-state point shared with Lower Saxony and Hesse. The Weser forms the border with the former. One peculiarity in the town's location is to be found at the constituent community of Würgassen (, which lies on the Weser's right (here, north) bank, which would actually mean that the community were in Lower Saxony had it not been for the way a long-standing boundary dispute was settled in 1837. Höxter () is a Kreis (district) in the east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Neighboring districts are Holzminden, Northeim, Kassel, Waldeck-Frankenberg, Hochsauerland, Paderborn, and Lippe. Adnan Zahirović
Adnan Zahirović (born 23 March 1990) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for SV Neresheim. Club career Zahirović started his career at Čelik Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he played for two seasons. In 2011, he was transferred to Russian side Spartak Nalchik. Danny Latza (born 7 December 1989) is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for 2. Bundesliga club Schalke 04. Career Latza began his footballing career in 1995, at the age of five, as a youth player with his local team, DJK Arminia Ückendorf. Selim Gündüz (born 16 May 1994) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Berliner AK 07. Career On 31 August 2018, the last day of the 2018 summer transfer window, Gündüz joined 2. Bundesliga side Darmstadt 98 from league rivals VfL Bochum having agreed a season-long contract. Yusuke Tasaka
is a Japanese professional football midfielder. Career Born in Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Tasaka began his career with hometown side Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He was a regular in the academy sides and won the 2003 J-League Youth Cup alongside the likes of Yojiro Takahagi and Issei Takayanagi.
