Eric Gonzales
Manolito "Eric" Gonzales Jr. (born September 3, 1972) is a Filipino professional basketball coach, currently with the Quezon Huskers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and the Pilipinas Super League (PSL). Coaching career Gonzales is a former University of Santo Tomas track and field star from 1992 to 1994. He started his coaching career by serving as an assistant for Binky Favis in 1995 with the Tiger Cubs. There, he slowly built his résumé while coaching in the minor leagues for the St. Stephen High School with his brother Warren Gonzales, and would later spend time on the Purefoods and Coca-Cola benches. At GlobalPort, he served as an assistant to coaches Junel Baculi and Ritchie Ticzon. He was the longtime deputy coach to Nash Racela at Far Eastern University. Siverino A. "Nonoy" Baclao Jr. (born June 15, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Meralco Bolts of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The 2016 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) rookie draft was an event which allows teams to draft players from the amateur ranks. The league determined the drafting order based on the performance of the member teams for the 2015–16 season, with the worst team picking first, as a replacement for its lottery system after the controversies that surrounded the 2014 draft. The league was supposed to hold a special draft for players from the national team, popularly called ''Gilas'', separately from the regular one for other rookies. The NorthPort Batang Pier is a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team that first played in the 2012–13 PBA season. The team took over the franchise of the Powerade Tigers in 2012 after it was sold to Sultan 900 Capital, Inc. Besides NorthPort, team owner Mikee Romero also co-owned the AirAsia Philippine Patriots of the ASEAN Basketball League. Eric Conrad Menk (born August 24, 1974) is a Filipino-American former professional basketball player who played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the Asean Basketball League. Known as Major Pain, Menk is a four-time PBA champion and was the 2004–05 PBA Most Valuable Player. The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall.
