The 2014 Emir of Qatar Cup was the 42nd edition of a men's football tournament in Qatar. It was played by the 1st and 2nd level divisions of the Qatari football league structure. The draw for the competition was on 8 April 2014. The competition featured all teams from the 2013–14 Qatar Stars League and the top four sides from the Qatargas League. Four venues were to be used – Al Sadd Stadium, Al Arabi Stadium, Qatar SC Stadium and Khalifa Stadium. El-Jaish Sports Club () was a Qatari multi-sports club from 2011 to 2017, based in the Al-Duhail area of Doha. The association football team played in the Qatar Stars League. The team won the Qatargas League prior to 2011, but were not eligible for promotion and as a result were not declared as the champions of the league. It was promoted to the first division, the Stars League, the first year after it was made eligible. The club also had participations in other sports, most notably in handball where its team has previously achieved 3rd place in both the GCC Handball Championship and the Asian Club Handball Championship. Al-Sailiya Sports Club () is a Qatari professional Association football, football club currently competing in the Qatari Second Division. They are based in the Qatari capital Doha and play their home games at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium. History Al Sailiya were founded as ''Al-Qadsiyah Sports Club'' on 10 October 1995.
