2014 Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2014 Big Ten men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big Ten Conference held from March 13 through March 16, 2014 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The tournament was the seventeenth annual Big Ten men's basketball tournament and third and final year to feature 12 teams. The championship was won by Michigan State who defeated Michigan in the championship game. As a result, Michigan State received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The win marked Michigan State's fourth tournament championship (tying them with Ohio State for the most championships) and second championship in three years. Bankers Life Fieldhouse
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is an indoor arena located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It opened in November 1999 to replace Market Square Arena. The arena is the home of the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). It also hosts college basketball games (including the annual Big Ten Conference tournaments), indoor concerts, and ice hockey. Originally named Conseco Fieldhouse, after the financial firm CNO Financial Group, Conseco, the arena was renamed Bankers Life Fieldhouse, before Gainbridge became the naming rights sponsor in 2021. The 2013–14 Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was Bo Ryan's 13th season as head coach at Wisconsin. The team played their home games at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin and were members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 30–8, 12–6 in Big Ten play to finish in a tie for second place. They lost in the semifinals in the Big Ten tournament to Michigan State. Will Sheehey
William Sheehey (born January 16, 1992) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Indiana University. High school career As a resident of Stuart, Florida, Sheehey attended South Fork High School as a sophomore and junior. As a sophomore in 2007–08, he averaged 17 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game and as a junior in 2008–09, he averaged 24.6 points, 10 rebounds and nearly three assists per game. Jeremy Hollowell (born February 25, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi.
