Swedish bandy champions () is a title held by the winners of the final of the highest Swedish bandy league played each year, Elitserien. The final is called ''Svenska bandyfinalen'' ("Swedish Bandy Final") and is played in March. From the 2007–08 season, Saturday replaced Sunday as the final date, but was changed back to Sunday again and again to Saturday in 2015 in 2010. In 2009 Eurosport 2 showed it for the 1st time. History The first final was held in 1907, when IFK Uppsala beat IFK Gävle with 4–1 in Boulognerskogen, Gävle. In 1912 two winners were declared, because no replay of the tied final could be played due to the weather. Venue The arena with the most finals is Stockholm Olympic Stadium in Stockholm (50 times), Söderstadion in Stockholm (23) and Studenternas IP (17). Skutskärs IF
Skutskärs IF is a bandy club in Skutskär, Sweden. The formal name of the club is ''Skutskärs IF/Bandyklubb''. The team colours are green and yellow. History The club was formally founded in 1989, when the former Skutskärs IF of 1915 was split in two, one club for bandy and one for association football. In the first year of bandy league system in Sweden, 1930–31, Skutskär entered in Division 1 Norra together with AIK, Hammarby IF, IF Vesta, IFK Rättvik, IK Sirius, SK Tirfing, and Västerås SK and finished 3rd. Skutskärs IF has become Swedish champions of bandy twice for men, in 1944 and in 1959, and once for women, in 2018. They still hold the attendance records for an outdoor final. Nationalarenan, currently known as Friends Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a retractable roof multi-purpose stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. Christoffer Edlund (born 3 February 1987) is a Swedish bandy player who currently plays for Villa Lidköping BK as a midfielder or forward. Career Club career Edlund is a youth product of Vetlanda BK where he remained until 2008–09. 2009–10 to 2013–14 he played for Sandvikens AIK. In 2014, Edlund joined Russian team Yenisey for one year. With Yenisey, Edlund won the Russian Championship and scored one goal in the final. After one year with Yenisey, Edlund returned to Sandvikens AIK.
