''El Correo'' (; ) is a leading daily newspaper in Bilbao and the Basque Country of northern Spain. It is among best-selling general interest newspapers in Spain. History and profile The brothers Ybarra y de la Revilla – Fernando, Gabriel and Emilio – founded ''El Pueblo Vasco'' ("The Basque People") on 1 May 1910, with Juan de la Cruz as founding editor. The paper supported Vizcaya's young Conservative Party and its editorial line was clerical, Alfonsist monarchist, free press and Basque regional autonomist. José Mota (comedian)
José Sánchez Mota (born 30 June 1965) is a Spanish comedian, television director, satirist, singer and actor, notable for his television comedy shows. He was member, with Juan Muñoz, of the comedy duo ''Cruz y Raya'' between 1989 and 2007, and later he started a solo career. Cruz y Raya In 1985, while he was serving in the military, Mota met Juan Muñoz, with whom he began his career as a comedian. The two started performing shows at small theaters in Madrid, such as ''Cien personajes en busca de humor'' (''One Hundred Characters in the Quest of Humor''), but it was Javier Sardá who gave them the opportunity of making their own radio show, ''La Bisagra''. Raquel Sánchez-Silva (born 13 January 1973 in Plasencia, Cáceres, Spain) is a Spanish television presenter and writer. ''Amar es para siempre'' () is a long-running Spanish television period soap opera that originally ran on Antena 3 for twelve seasons, from 14 January 2013 to 6 March 2024, with the plot occurring between October 1960 and September 1984. It is the resumption of Televisión Española's '' Amar en tiempos revueltos''. Premise ''Amar es para siempre'' is a period drama resuming the previous series '' Amar en tiempos revueltos'' and is setting around the fictional Plaza de los Frutos in Madrid.
