2013 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2013 World Men's Handball Championship was the 23rd World Men's Handball Championship, an international handball tournament that took place in Spain from 11 to 27 January 2013. This was the first time Spain hosted the World Men's Handball Championship, becoming the twelfth country to host the competition. Spain won the title, beating Denmark in the final 35–19. It was Denmark's second final in a row. Venues Games in Madrid were scheduled to be played in the Madrid Arena but on 1 November 2012, five young people were killed in a human stampede during a Halloween party. The venue was subsequently closed because of the judicial investigation and the IHF changed the location of games to Caja Mágica. Anders Eggert
Anders Eggert (born 14 May 1982) is a Danish handball coach and former player. He has previously played in Denmark for GOG and Skjern Håndbold, and german side SG Flensburg-Handewitt. He was part of SG Flensburg-Handewitt team that won the 2013–14 EHF Champions League trophy. In his 11 years with SG Flensburg-Handewitt he played in 461 matches and scored 2531 times. Since the summer of 2022 he has been the assistant coach at KIF Kolding. Additionally he has worked as a handball expert on Danish television. National team Eggert made his debut for the Denmark men's national handball team in 2003. He became European Champion with the Danish team after winning the 2012 Championship in Serbia, defeating the host nation in the final, 21–19. In 2011 he was a part of the team that won the silver medal at the World Championships in Sweden. He competed in handball at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Canals or artificial waterways are waterways or engineered channels built for drainage management (e.g. flood control and irrigation) or for conveyancing water transport vehicles (e.g. water taxi). Canal+ (, meaning "Channel Plus"), also spelt Canal Plus and sometimes abbreviated C+ or Canal, is a French premium television channel owned by Canal+. TV3 Sport is a Danish sports television channel, owned by Viaplay Group and operated by TV3 SPORT. The channel originally broadcast as TV 2 SPORT and was a joint-venture between TV 2 and Modern Times Group. MTG launched a dedicated Danish version of its Viasat Sport channel in January 2002. In December 2006, TV 2 and MTG announced that they would enter a partnership to launch TV 2 SPORT and its sister channel TV 2 SPORT Xtra (later renamed TV 2 SPORT HD). This channel would replace the Danish version of Viasat Sport 1 (as it was then called). TV 2 is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station, based in Odense, Funen. The station was founded in 1986, and made its first official broadcast in 1988. It makes daily broadcasts of regional and national news, as well as its morning talk show, '' Go'morgen Danmark''. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company.
