2012–13 Valencia CF Season
The 2012–13 Valencia CF season was the club's 95th season in existence and its La Liga#All-time La Liga table, 26th consecutive season in La Liga, the top flight of Spanish football. The season marked the coaching debut of Mauricio Pellegrino, who assumed coaching of the club after the four-year tenure of Unai Emery. Pellegrino was sacked on 1 December and replaced with Ernesto Valverde. Manuel Llorente resigned after almost four years as Valencia president on 5 April 2013. Roberto Soldado Rillo (; born 27 May 1985) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. After emerging through Real Madrid's youth system, he went on to appear in only 27 official matches for the first team (four goals). Sofiane Feghouli (; born 26 December 1989) is a professional footballer who plays for the Algeria national team. He mainly operates as a midfielder, but can also play as a winger and as an attacking midfielder. Feghouli made his senior international debut for Algeria in February 2012. Jonas Gonçalves Oliveira (born 1 April 1984), known as Jonas (), is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Adil Rami (; born 27 December 1985) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Rami began his football career playing for amateur club Étoile Fréjus Saint-Raphaël, then known as ES Fréjus.
