2012–13 UIC Flames Men's Basketball Team
The 2011–12 UIC Flames men's basketball team represented the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Howard Moore, serving his third year. The Flames played their home games at the UIC Pavilion and were members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 18–16, 7–9 in Horizon League play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament to Green Bay. They were invited to the 2013 CIT where they defeated Chicago State in the first round before losing in the second round to Northern Iowa. Howard Moore
Howard Moore is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at University of Illinois at Chicago. Moore replaced Jimmy Collins as head coach of the Flames on August 23, 2010. Moore most recently served as an assistant on head coach Greg Gard's staff at Wisconsin. The 2012–13 Mercer Bears men's basketball team represented Mercer University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by fifth year head coach Bob Hoffman, played their home games at Hawkins Arena on the university's Macon, Georgia campus and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 24–12, 14–4 in A-Sun play to win the regular season conference championship. They advanced to the championship game of the Atlantic Sun tournament where they lost to Florida Gulf Coast. The U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam is a NCAA college basketball tournament that takes place annually in late November. The men's tournament typically takes place the week before Thanksgiving, with the women's tournament occurring during Thanksgiving week. It is held in St. Thomas at the Sports and Fitness Center on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands. Colorado State is the defending men's champion. Texas A&M and Arizona are the defending women's champions in the Reef and Island divisions, respectively. The 2012–13 New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represented the University of New Mexico as a member of the Mountain West Conference during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lobos were coached by sixth-year head coach Steve Alford and played their home games at The Pit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They finish with a record of 29–6 overall and 13–3 in Mountain West play to win the Mountain West regular season championship. The 2012–13 UC Riverside Highlanders men's basketball team represented University of California, Riverside during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Highlanders, led by sixth year head coach Jim Wooldridge, played their home games at the Student Recreation Center Arena and were members of the Big West Conference. Due to low APR scores, the Highlanders were ineligible for post season play, including the Big West Tournament. They finished the season 6–25, 3–15 in Big West play to finish in last place. On December 15, the Highlanders tied the Big West conference record for fewest points scored in a single game, in a 26–70 loss at USC. Vienna () is a town in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. census, Vienna has a population of 16,473.
