2012–13 Rugby Pro D2 Season
The 2012–13 Rugby Pro D2 is the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2012–13 season. It ran alongside the 2012–13 Top 14 competition; both competitions are operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). Teams Changes in the lineup from 2011–12 were: * FC Grenoble won the 2011–12 Pro D2 title and were thereby automatically promoted to the Top 14. Mont-de-Marsan won the promotion playoffs to secure the second promotion place. * The bottom finisher in 2011–12, Périgueux, was relegated from Pro D2 to Fédérale 1. Second-from-bottom Béziers were spared relegation when ninth-placed Bourgoin were forcibly relegated to Fédérale 1 for financial reasons. * The two bottom finishers in the Top 14 in 2011-12, Brive and Lyon, were relegated to Pro D2. * The two finalists in Fédérale 1, champion Massy and runner-up Colomiers, earned promotion. Oyonnax Rugby
Oyonnax Rugby () is a French professional rugby union club based in Oyonnax and competing in the Pro D2. Founded in 1949 and located in the Ain montainous department, the club plays its home matches at the 11,400-capacity Stade Charles-Mathon, the highest stadium in the league at and wears black and red jerseys. History They were founded in 1909 as ''Club Sportif Oyonnaxien'' and were renamed ''Union Sportive Oyonaxienne'' in 1940, as sports clubs were forced to unite by the Vichy régime. US Colomiers
Union Sportive Colomiers Rugby or Rugby Colomiers is a French rugby union club currently competing in Pro D2, the second level of the French rugby pyramid. They had been relegated from Pro D2 after finishing last in the 2006–07 season, but earned promotion from Fédérale 1 at the first opportunity in 2007-08, and survived a relegation scare in 2008–09, finishing 14th, in the last safe position. Stadium Municipal D'Albi
The Stadium Municipal d'Albi is a multi-purpose stadium in Albi, France. It is currently used for rugby union as the home of SC Albi. After an expansion project completed in 2007, the stadium holds 13,000 with 8,000 seated. History Built and opened in 1964 the ground immediately became the home of the towns two rugby clubs Racing Club Albi XIII and Sporting Club Albi. The ground is also used for athletic meetings. The ground originally had a main cantilever stand which held 1,800 seated spectators and a smaller unseated stand for 1,200, at either end there were semi-circular standing terraces. Section Paloise (), often referred to simply as la Section or Pau (), is a professional rugby union club based in Pau, France.
