2012–13 Nebraska Cornhuskers Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team represented the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Led by head coach Tim Miles, in his first season with the Cornhuskers. The team will play its home games in Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, and were a member of the Big Ten Conference. This was their final season at the Bob Devaney Sports Center before moving into their new arena, Pinnacle Bank Arena, for the 2013-14 season. Tim Miles
Timothy Sean Miles (born August 20, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team. Miles previously served as the head coach of North Dakota State University, Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska. Miles is a graduate of the University of Mary. Coaching career Early career Following his playing career at the University of Mary, Miles spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Northern State University, where the Wolves went to four NAIA II national tournaments and two national championship games. In 1995, Miles left to accept his first head coaching job at NAIA II Mayville State. In both his seasons at Mayville State, Miles led the Comets to NDCAC Championships and the NAIA II National Tournament. Alliance, Nebraska
Alliance is a city and the county seat of Box Butte County, in the western part of the state of Nebraska, in the Great Plains region of the United States. Its population was 8,151 at the 2020 census. 2012–13 Valparaiso Crusaders Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Valparaiso Crusaders men's basketball team represented Valparaiso University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cruasaders, led by second year head coach Bryce Drew, played their home games at the Athletics–Recreation Center and were members of the Horizon League. The season finished with 26–8 in overall, 13–3 in Horizon League to become Horizon League Regular Season Champions. They were also champions of the Horizon League tournament, defeating Wright State in the championship game, for the first Horizon League title in school history.
