2012–13 Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers men's basketball team represented Mount St. Mary's University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mountaineers, led by first year head coach Jamion Christian, played their home games at Knott Arena and were members of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 18–14, 11–7 in NEC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They advanced to the championship game of the Northeast Conference tournament where they lost to Long Island. Despite the 18 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament. Jamion Christian
Jamion Christian (born April 18, 1982) is an American basketball coach. He is currently the head coach of the Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball, Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team. He previously was the head coach at Siena Saints men's basketball, Siena, Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers men's basketball, Mount St. Mary's, and George Washington Revolutionaries men's basketball, George Washington. He was also the head coach for Pallacanestro Trieste in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) from 2023 to 2025. Biography Christian was born and raised in Quinton, Virginia. As a shooting guard, he led New Kent High School to a Virginia High School League State Championship with a 26–0 record and earned the VHSL Group A State Player of the Year honors. The Petersen Events Center (more commonly known as "The Pete") is a 12,508-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in the Oakland neighborhood.
