2012–13 Mercer Bears Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Mercer Bears men's basketball team represented Mercer University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by fifth year head coach Bob Hoffman, played their home games at Hawkins Arena on the university's Macon, Georgia campus and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 24–12, 14–4 in A-Sun play to win the regular season conference championship. They advanced to the championship game of the Atlantic Sun tournament where they lost to Florida Gulf Coast. As a regular season conference champions who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the 2013 NIT where they defeated Tennessee in the first round before losing in the second round to BYU. Bob Hoffman (basketball)
Bob Hoffman (born July 18, 1957) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Central Oklahoma. Early life He is a graduate of Putnam City High School in Warr Acres, Oklahoma and went to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee to play basketball. He met his wife there and after graduation he was hired at Piedmont High School in Piedmont, Oklahoma just northwest of Oklahoma City. Coaching career He was then hired as the head women's basketball coach at Southern Nazarene University, where his team won the NAIA national championship in 1989. From there he returned to his alma mater as men's coach for the following ten years. From OBU he was the coach at University of Texas-Pan American then back to Oklahoma where he served as an assistant to Kelvin Sampson at the University of Oklahoma until Sampson was found to have committed numerous NCAA violations.

Bowdon, Georgia
Bowdon is a city in Carroll County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 2,161. History The community was incorporated on January 1, 1859, and was named after Alabama congressman Franklin Welsh Bowdon. A college was established in Bowdon in 1857. Bowdon Municipal Court changed some of its practices in 2015 after Judge Richard A. Diment was shown in recordings demanding payment in exchange for avoiding jail. Later, in a ''New York Times'' article, Judge Diment claimed that he had never actually jailed someone for failing to pay a fine. Judge Diment's daughter described him as a proponent of civil rights. Geography Bowdon is located near the Georgia-Alabama state line at 33° 32′ 22″ N, 85° 15′ 21″ W (33.539444 N, -85.255833 W). The main highways through the city are Georgia State Routes 100 and 166. 2012–13 UIC Flames Men's Basketball Team
The 2011–12 UIC Flames men's basketball team represented the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Howard Moore, serving his third year. The Flames played their home games at the UIC Pavilion and were members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 18–16, 7–9 in Horizon League play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament to Green Bay. They were invited to the 2013 CIT where they defeated Chicago State in the first round before losing in the second round to Northern Iowa. CBS Sports Network (a.k.a. CBSSN) is an American pay television network owned by the CBS Entertainment Group unit of Paramount Global. When it launched in 2002 as the National College Sports Network (later College Sports Television also known as CSTV), it operated as a multi-platform media brand which also included its primary website, collegesports.com, and a network of websites operated for the athletic departments of 215 colleges and universities.
