2012–13 Barnet F.C. Season
Barnet began the season with a new manager after Lawrie Sanchez was sacked towards the end of the 2011/12 season and subsequent caretaker manager Martin Allen was not asked to continue. The new manager was Mark Robson, who was appointed on 10 June 2012. However, after failing to win any of his first 13 games, Edgar Davids was brought in to partner Robson as well as taking up playing duties. Robson departed the club on 28 December 2012, leaving Davids in sole charge. Barnet were relegated on the last day of the season, finishing 23rd with 51 points. Mauro Alexandre da Silva Vilhete (born 10 May 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He plays for Hemel Hempstead Town. Born in Portugal, he plays for the São Tomé and Príncipe national team. Career Club Born in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, Portugal, Vilhete moved to Barnet, England at a young age. He attended The Ravenscroft School, where he was tasked with analysing data from Barnet F.C. matches. He joined Barnet's youth team in 2009 after turning down an offer of a scholarship from Aston Villa. Following a series of injuries to first-team regulars, manager Ian Hendon called him into the first-team squad in November 2009, however he only appeared on the bench during this time. John Alec Jackson (born 15 August 1982) is an English professional football manager and former footballer who played as a midfielder or as a defender. He is the manager of club AFC Wimbledon. Yann Alain Kermorgant (born 8 November 1981) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Early career Born in Vannes, Morbihan, Kermorgant began his career with the Stade Rennais Youth Academy, but aged 14 he was the victim of leukaemia, and his career was halted for four years. Bradley Edward Wright-Phillips or “BWP” (born 12 March 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is currently a studio host on MLS Season Pass. Clarence Park (St Albans)
Clarence Park is a Victorian park used for sports and leisure in St Albans, England. Opened in mid-1894, it is still largely in its original form and has a rich variety of trees and planting. It is close to St Albans City railway station. Overview The park was laid out in early 1894, and comprises a municipal sports ground and a public park and pleasure ground. The benefactor, Sir John Maple, the owner of Maple's furniture store in Tottenham Court Road who lived at nearby Childwickbury, donated the land and paid for the laying out, the planting and the construction of the buildings; the layout of the park itself was designed by the City Surveyor, Mr G. Anthony James Edgar (born 30 September 1990) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Ashford United. Ricky Lee Holmes (born 19 June 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker or a winger for Chelmsford City. Born in Rochford, Holmes began his football career with Southend-based clubs before joining Chelmsford City in 2005.
