Ignatiy Mikhailovich Nesterov ( Uzbek: ''Ignatiy Mixaylovich Nesterov'', Russian: ''Игнатий Михайлович Нестеров'') (born 20 June 1983, in Samarkand) is an Uzbek football goalkeeper of Russian origin who plays for Lokomotiv Tashkent. Apart from a short-term spell at Saudi Arabian club Ohod, Nesterov has spent his entire footballing career in Uzbekistan. Pakhtakor Football Club () is an Uzbek professional football club, based in the capital city of Tashkent, that competes in the Uzbekistan Super League. Pakhtakor is often considered the most successful football club in Uzbekistan. FC Shurtan Guzar () is a professional football club based in G‘uzor, Uzbekistan. History During its first years, the club played in the lower divisions of Uzbekistan. In 2006 FC Shurtan made its debut in the Uzbek League. The 2010 season was the club's most successful, finishing 4th in the league and as runners-up in the Uzbek Cup. In the quarter-final of the Uzbek Cup, they beat Pakhtakor on aggregate and Lokomotiv Tashkent in the semi-final. Shurtan lost in the final, played in Tashkent, to Bunyodkor. The final score was 0–1. Edgar Yakovlevich Gess (; ; born 14 March 1954) is a Tajikistani-German football coach and a former Soviet player. International career Gess played his only game for the USSR on 5 September 1979 in a friendly game against East Germany. Coaching career On 18 April 2005, Gess was appointed as the Head Coach of Alania Vladikavkaz following the departure of Bakhva Tedeyev. In 2009–2011 he was head coach of an Uzbek club Shurtan Guzar.
