2012 Speedway Grand Prix Of Italy
The 2012 FIM Fogo Italian Speedway Grand Prix was the eighth race meeting of the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on August 11, at the Pista Olimpia Terenzano stadium in Terenzano, Italy. The Grand Prix was won by Antonio Lindbäck who beat Emil Sayfutdinov, Greg Hancock and Martin Vaculík. It was first SGP win for Lindbäck in his 52nd start. He and Fredrik Lindgren are the most "waiting for win" riders. Pozzuolo del Friuli () is a (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about southwest of Udine. Jason Michael Bunyan (born 9 March 1979 in Milton Keynes) is a former England under-21 international motorcycle speedway rider from England. He is a ten times champion of New Zealand. Peter Kildemand (born 1 September 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark and was a member of the Danish national team. He is a two-time Speedway Grand Prix winner. Career Kildemand started riding in Britain for Workington Comets in 2010 and 2011, before signing for Coventry Bees mid-way through the 2011 season. He was a member of the Swindon Robins 2012 Elite League Championship winning team and was named "Rider of the Year" for the club at the end of the season. Michael Jepsen Jensen (born 18 February 1992) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Jepsen Jensen was part of the 2010 Under-21 World Cup winning Denmark team. He peaked in 2012, winning the 2012 Speedway World Cup with the Denmark national speedway team and winning the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix of Nordic becoming the first wildcard to have won a GP meeting since Hans Andersen.
