The 2012 Seattle Sounders FC season was the club's fourth season in Major League Soccer, the United States' top-tier of professional soccer. For the Sounders FC organization, it was their fourth year of existence, and including all previous clubs, it was the 32nd season of a soccer team bearing the Sounders name. Tyson Wahl
Tyson Wahl (born February 23, 1984) is an American retired soccer player. Career Youth and college Wahl played club soccer for Slammers FC coached by Walid and Ziad Khoury, and Irvine Strikers, coached by Don Ebert, and played college soccer at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2005, where he started every game of his career. He also played two seasons with Orange County Blue Star in the USL Premier Development League. Professional Wahl was drafted in the second round, 19th overall, by Kansas City Wizards in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. Wahl went on to make 32 appearances for Kansas City in 3 years. Gerson Mayen
Gerson Levi Mayen Villavicencio (born 9 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Primera División club Municipal Limeño. Born in the United States, he plays for the El Salvador national team at international level. Career Youth Mayen attended Manual Arts High School, and started playing soccer when he was young with a club named Gilbert Lindsay Youth Soccer Club, then with the club soccer with Alta Loma Arsenal where he won four Cal South State Cups, four Regional Championships and three National Championships. Justin Braun (soccer)
Justin Braun (born March 31, 1987) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward. Career Youth and amateur Braun had an accomplished career at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, where he was named to the All-State first team in his junior and senior years, and to the second team his second year, as well as being the leading scorer in the state during his last two years at the school. James Riley (born October 27, 1982) is an American former soccer player who played as a defender and is currently the head coach for USL League Two club Ballard FC. Riley previously spent eleven seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the New England Revolution (2005–2007), San Jose Earthquakes (2008), Seattle Sounders FC (2009–2011), Chivas USA (2012), D.C. The 2011 Seattle Sounders FC season was the club's third season in Major League Soccer, the United States' top-tier of professional soccer.
