2012 AFL Finals Series
The 2012 Australian Football League AFL finals series, finals series determined the AFL Premiership, winner of the 2012 AFL season. The series took place over four weekends in September 2012, culminating with the 2012 AFL Grand Final, 116th AFL/VFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 29 September 2012. The finals system The system is a AFL final eight system, final eight system. This system is currently used by the National Rugby League, and is different from the McIntyre final eight system, which was previously used by both the AFL and the NRL. Luke Breust (born 11 November 1990) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Breust is a small forward. Early career Recruited from Temora, New South Wales, Temora, New South Wales, Breust played both rugby league and Australian rules football as a junior but turned his focus to Australian rules from age 14. Chris Dawes (Australian Footballer)
Chris Dawes (born 16 May 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early career Raised in the bayside suburbs, Dawes attended Brighton Grammar and played junior football at the Hampton Rovers Football Club. He is the son of a history lecturer turned antiquarian bookshop owner and is studying law at Victoria University in Melbourne (but with only passing interest in practising it). Sharrod Wellingham
Sharrod Wellingham (born 7 July 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). A pacy wingman from Western Australia, Wellingham became the fifth Indigenous footballer on the Magpies list having been selected with the 10th pick in the 2006 AFL Rookie draft. Wellingham's initial season at the club was spent with Collingwood's VFL affiliate side, Williamstown. Andrew Krakouer
Andrew James Krakouer (4 February 1983 – 30 March 2025) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club and Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Krakouer was born in Melbourne in 1983, the son of Jim Krakouer and nephew of Phil Krakouer. He was the cousin of former Gold Coast and Port Adelaide player Nathan Krakouer. Travis Cloke (born 5 March 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and in the Australian Football League (AFL). Isaac Smith (footballer)
Isaac Smith (born 30 December 1988) is a former Australian rules football player who previously played for the Hawthorn Football Club and Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League. Smith was drafted by the Hawthorn with the 19th pick in the 2010 AFL draft and played ten seasons for the Hawks. He took part in each of Hawthorn's three consecutive Grand Final victories from 2013 to 2015. Following the 2020 season, Smith moved to the Geelong Football Club as a free agent and played with the Cats for three seasons. Jarryd Roughead (born 23 January 1987) is an Australian rules football coach and former player. He was formerly an assistant coach with the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Paul Puopolo (born 2 December 1987) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A man small in stature, he is known to jump into packs and take marks against much taller opponents. Cyril Rioli (born 14 July 1989) is a former Australian rules football player who played with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. Rioli was a member of four premiership teams and was the Norm Smith Medallist in the 2015 AFL Grand Final.
