2012 6 Hours Of Donington
The 2012 6 Hours of Donington was an auto race held at the Donington Park Circuit, Leicestershire, United Kingdom on 13–15 July 2012. It was the second round of the 2012 European Le Mans Series season, and the first time that the European Le Mans Series held the 6 Hours of Donington since 2006. The race was won by Olivier Pla, Demitri Enjalbert, and Bertrand Baguette driving for OAK Racing in a Morgan- Nissan. Qualifying Qualifying result Pole position in each class are marked in bold. Simon Dolan (born 20 May 1969) is a British businessman and investor who made his fortune through accountancy services. Since 2020, he has opposed measures by the United Kingdom government linked to the COVID-19 pandemic and has made legal challenges to government decisions. Jonathan Cocker (born 24 August 1986) is a British racing driver. In 2012 he won the ELMS GTE Pro Championship. He competed in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) for Drayson Racing, a team run by Paul Drayson. Career Cocker, who was born in Cheshire, began his racing career in T Cars in 2001, aged 14. In 2003, he progressed to the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, finishing fourth in the standings. Thierry Marc Boutsen (born 13 July 1957) is a Belgian former racing driver who raced for the Arrows, Benetton, Williams, Ligier and Jordan teams in Formula One. He competed in 164 World Championship Grands Prix (163 starts), winning three races, achieving 15 podiums and scoring 132 career points. Status Grand Prix is a former motorsport team registered in Canada. Team history Based in Silverstone the team was formed in 2005 to run the A1 Team Ireland franchise in the new A1 Grand Prix series.
