2011–12 UNLV Runnin' Rebels Basketball Team
The 2011–12 UNLV Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The team was coached by Dave Rice, in his first year with the Runnin' Rebels. They played their home games at the Thomas & Mack Center on UNLV's main campus in Las Vegas, Nevada and are a member of the Mountain West Conference. UNLV's season ended with 26–9 overall, and 9–5 in MWC Play, placing third. They lost in the semifinals of the Mountain West Basketball tournament to New Mexico. Dave Rice (basketball)
David Wayne Rice (born August 29, 1968) is an American college basketball coach for Salt Lake Community College. He is also the former head men's basketball coach at UNLV where he ranks as the program's third-winningest coach. He spent the 2016-2017 season as an assistant coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, and an assistant coach at the University of Washington for three seasons (2017–2021). Rice has served as a Division I assistant coach for 22 seasons. His first 11 seasons as a college assistant he spent at UNLV with those teams tallying 205 wins during thatime  In his most recent 11 seasons as an assistant coach, Rice has worked at Utah State, BYU, Nevada and Washington. Forward (basketball)
Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different Position (team sports), positions defined by the strategic role they play. Coronado High School (Coronado, California)
Coronado High School (CHS) is a public high school in Coronado, California. It is the only high school in the Coronado Unified School District. The Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA) is located on the campus of CHS. The California Department of Education gave it a California Distinguished School award in 2011 and two Model Continuation High School awards in 2014 and 2018. The boundary includes Naval Amphibious Base Coronado and Naval Air Station North Island. History Coronado High School was established in 1913. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five, the big or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game.
