2011–12 Fulham F.C. Season
The 2011–12 season was Fulham's 114th professional season and their 11th consecutive season in the top flight of English football, the Premier League. They also competed in the FA Cup, the League Cup, and the Europa League. Fulham finished the season in ninth place after their last league match against Tottenham Hotspur resulted in a 0–2 defeat on 13 May 2012. Fulham () is an area of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in West London, England, southwest of Charing Cross. Leon Julian Brendan Best (born 19 September 1986) is a retired professional footballer who played as a striker. He has played for the Republic of Ireland national football team. Best represented Ireland at under-21 level and won his first full international cap against Nigeria on 29 May 2009. Best had a youth career at Notts County. Mike Dean (born 2 June 1968) is an English former professional Association football, football Referee (association football), referee primarily in the Premier League. Kevin Edward Doyle (born 18 September 1983) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a forward. He played for Wexford F.C. (formerly Wexford Youths), St Patrick's Athletic, and Cork City in his homeland before he moved to English side Reading. He was part of Reading's record-breaking promotion to the Premier League in 2006.
