2011–12 FC Terek Grozny Season
The 2011–12 FC Terek Grozny season was the fourth successive season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of football in Russia. They finished the season in 11th place, and reached the Quarter-Finals of the Russian Cup where they were eliminated by Volga Nizhny Novgorod after extra time. Following the completion of the 2010 season, Anatoli Baidachny's contract as manager expired and he was replaced by Víctor Muñoz. However, after less than a month Muñoz left via mutual consent and was replaced by Ruud Gullit. Following only three wins in eleven games, Gullit was sacked on 14 June 2011, and replaced by Isa Baytiyev in a caretaker roll. On 27 September 2011 Baytiyev's caretaker spell came to an end and Stanislav Cherchesov was appointed as the club's manager. Republican Football Club Akhmat ( ce, футболан клуб Ахмат Соьлжа-ГӀала; russian: Республиканский футбольный клуб Ахмат Грозный), commonly known as Akhmat Grozny, is a Russian professional football club based in Grozny that plays in the Russian Premier League. The team was named ''Terek'' between 1958 and 2017. History It was founded in 1946, as ''Dynamo''; it changed its name in 1948 to ''Neftyanik'' and in 1958 to ''Terek'', it changed the name again in 2017 to ''Akhmat''. The club is named after Akhmat Kadyrov. In the 1990s the club was disbanded for some time due to the war in Chechnya. Antonio Ferreira de Oliveira Junior (born October 24, 1984), often known as Ferreira, is a football defender from Brazil who plays for São Bernardo. PFC Spartak Nalchik (russian: Профессиональный футбольный клуб "Спартак Нальчик") is a Russian association football club based in Nalchik that plays in the third-tier FNL 2.
