The 2011–12 East of Scotland Football League was the 83rd season of the East of Scotland Football League. Spartans F.C., The Spartans were the defending champions. The league was split into two separate divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division, with 25 teams competing across the two divisions. Premier Division Stirling University claimed their first league title thanks to a superior goal difference after finishing level on points with defending champions Spartans. Ainslie Park
Ainslie Park, also known as the Vanloq Community Stadium due to sponsorship, is a football stadium located in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the home ground of Scottish League Two club Spartans and the club's women's team in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL). In addition, Edinburgh City shared the ground between 2017 and 2022 during the redevelopment of Meadowbank Stadium, and Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale also played there during the 2021–22 season. Yarrow Park
Selkirk Football Club (nicknamed the Souters) was a Scottish football club based in the town of Selkirk. Founded in 1880, they were the oldest established football club in the Scottish Borders. The club was selected as a founder member of the Lowland Football League, which was formed in 2013 by the Scottish Football Association (SFA) as part of a proposed pyramid system. Their home ground was Yarrow Park. Following financial problems, they resigned from the Lowland League during the 2018–19 season and later went out of business due to insurmountable debts and failure to keep their SFA membership. Selkirk is a town and historic royal burgh in the Scottish Borders council district of southeastern Scotland. It lies on the Ettrick Water, a tributary of the River Tweed. Raydale Park
Raydale Park is a football stadium in Gretna, Scotland. It is home to Lowland League side Gretna 2008 and now has a capacity of 1,030. Raydale formerly served as the home ground of Gretna until the club resigned from the Scottish Football League in 2008. History Gretna played their home games at Raydale during their existence in English non-League football and then during their period in the Scottish Football League. However, most of their home matches in the 2007–08 season were played at Fir Park, in Motherwell because Raydale did not meet SPL requirements.
