2011–12 All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship
The 2011–12 All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship was the ninth staging of the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The championship ran from 25 September 2011 to 11 February 2012. The All-Ireland final was played on 11 February 2012 at Croke Park in Dublin, between St. Patrick's, Ballyragget from Kilkenny and Charleville from Cork, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. St. Patrick's, Ballyraggett won the match by 1-13 to 1-12 to claim their first ever championship title. St. Patrick's Ballyraggett's Kevin Kelly was the championship's top scorer with 0-32. The Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Hurling Junior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the five champion junior clubs and one champion intermediate club in the province of Munster in Ireland. O'Moore Park () is a GAA stadium in Portlaoise, County Laois, Ireland. It is the home of the Laois Gaelic football and hurling teams. Under a new sponsorship deal it is known as "Laois Hire O'Moore Park". Ballyfin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and gaelic football club located in the village of Ballyfin in County Laois, Ireland.The club colours are green and white. The club grounds are at Cappinrush, beside Ballyfin's Roman Catholic church. Naomh Barróg is a Dublin based Gaelic Athletic Association club. History Gaelic games were introduced to the parish of Kilbarrack-Foxfield through the Scoil Lorcáin school, which had success in Cumann na mBunscol competitions in 1972, 1973, and 1974. Following the interest created by these achievements it was decided to form a local GAA club. At a meeting attended by 8 people in Scoil Lorcain on 5 September 1974, Naomh Barróg GAA club was formed. The club title being adopted after a 6th-century founder of a church in Kilbarrack, the remains of which still survive in Kilbarrack graveyard.
