2011 Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic
The 2011 Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic was a preseason soccer tournament held at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The tournament, the second edition of the Pro Soccer Classic, was held from February 24 to 26 and featured three Major League Soccer clubs alongside one USL Pro club. The tournament was won by FC Dallas, who defeated Houston Dynamo on penalties in the final. FC Dallas
FC Dallas is an American professional soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). The franchise began play in 1996 as a charter club of the league. The club was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn before adopting its current name in 2004. Geoffrey Scott "Geoff" Cameron (born July 11, 1985) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender. Cameron began playing college soccer with the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Rhode Island Rams, as well as USL Premier Development League side Rhode Island Stingrays, before being drafted by Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo in 2008. Will Bruin
William Christopher Bruin (born October 24, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders FC. Prior to joining Seattle, he spent 6 seasons playing for the Houston Dynamo. He has twice played for the United States men's national soccer team. Josue Soto (born January 3, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for USL League One club Tormenta FC. Career Academy Soto trained with the Houston Dynamo first team in the summers of 2008 and 2010, but he missed 2009 due to injury. He led the Dynamo Academy to the final of 2007 Dallas Cup, where the team lost in a penalty shootout. Dane Brekken "Brek" Shea (born February 28, 1990) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger or left-back for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami. Shea began his career with Major League Soccer team FC Dallas after playing in the IMG Academy. He made his debut during the 2008 season and helped Dallas reach the MLS Cup Playoffs in 2010 and 2011.
