The 2011 Seattle Mariners season was the 35th season in franchise history. The Mariners finished the season with 67 wins and 95 losses. American League West
The American League West is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. The division has five teams as of the 2013 season, but had four teams from 1994 to 2012, and had as many as seven teams before the 1994 realignment. Although its teams currently only reside along the west coast and in Texas, historically the division has had teams as far east as Chicago. From 1998 (when the NL West expanded to five teams) to 2012, the AL West was the only MLB division with four teams. The current champion of this division is the Houston Astros. Angela Marie Mentink (née Marzetta; formerly Arlati; born October 18, 1972) is an American sports television personality and former softball and baseball player who is currently an anchor for Root Sports Northwest and co-anchor of the television program ''Mariners Live''. The 2010 Seattle Mariners season was the 34th season in franchise history. The Mariners finished the season with 61 wins and 101 losses. Daren Dwayne Brown (born June 13, 1967) is an American professional baseball manager, who spent much of the 2013 season as the third base coach of the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). The son of big leaguer Paul Brown and nephew of Jackie Brown, Daren Brown was a pitcher in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system from 1989 to 1993, and with the Amarillo Dillas of the independent Texas–Louisiana League from 1994 to 1999. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Texas Rangers from to .
