Jennifer Gillom
Jennifer "Grandmama" Gillom (born June 13, 1964) is an American former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) basketball player who played for the Phoenix Mercury from 1997 to 2002, before finishing her playing career with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2003. Gillom is also a former Sparks head coach, also coached the Minnesota Lynx, and was, until 2015, an assistant coach of the Connecticut Sun. Born in Abbeville, Mississippi, Gillom played college basketball at the University of Mississippi and helped the United States Basketball Team to a gold medal in women's basketball in the 1988 Summer Olympics. Gillom signed with the Mercury in 1996 where she was All-WNBA in 1998 and won the Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award in her final season. Gillom is the head coach of the Xavier College Preparatory High School basketball team in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004. Tulsa Shock
The Tulsa Shock were a professional basketball team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in Detroit, Michigan before the 1998 WNBA season began; the team moved to Tulsa before the 2010 season. The team was owned by Tulsa Pro Hoops LLC, which is led by Bill Cameron and David Box. On July 20, 2015, Cameron announced that the franchise would move to Arlington, Texas for the 2016 WNBA season, rebranding as the Dallas Wings. The Shock qualified for the WNBA Playoffs in their final year in Tulsa in 2015. Chanel Mokango
Chanel Modiri Mokango (born October 13, 1988) is a Congolese professional basketball player who plays for Dexia Namur in Belgium and the Tulsa Shock in the WNBA. She was selected 9th in the 2010 WNBA draft by the Atlanta Dream and spent a portion of the 2010 WNBA season playing for the Los Angeles Sparks. The Phoenix Mercury are an American professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Jenna O'Hea (born 6 June 1987) is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Southside Flyers in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). O'Hea is also currently the captain of Australia's national team, the Opals. O'Hea was the captain of the Australian Women's basketball team (Opals) at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Natasha Lacy (born July 8, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the New York Liberty in the WNBA. Lacy was born in El Paso, Texas, and is the daughter of Austin and Pauline Lacy. She has four older siblings, Curtis, Keota Maryuen, Marcus and Austin. She attended Montwood High School, where she earned three varsity letters. Lacy was rated the ninth best guard and the 23rd best player by All-Star Girls Report. The Indiana Fever are an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis, playing in the Eastern Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded before the 2000 season began. The team is owned by Herb Simon, who also owns the Fever's NBA counterpart, the Indiana Pacers, and Simon Malls.
