The 2010 AFL season, 2010 Geelong Football Club season was the club's 111th season in the Australian Football League (AFL). Geelong finished the regular season in second position on the ladder, with 17 wins and five losses. Geelong then went on to lose its Preliminary final against . As a result, Geelong failed to advance to the 2010 AFL Grand Final, Grand Final for the first time in four seasons, as well as failing to defend its 2009 AFL Grand Final, 2009 premiership. The Geelong Football Club, nicknamed the Cats, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Marcus James Drum (born 1 May 1987) is an Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the Fremantle Football Club between 2006 and 2009 before he was traded to Geelong during the 2009 trade week. Jack Weston (born Morris Weinstein; August 21, 1924 – May 3, 1996) was an American actor. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1976 and a Tony Award in 1981. Career Weston, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, usually played comic roles in films such as '' Cactus Flower'' (1969) and '' Please Don't Eat the Daisies'' (1960). North Ballarat Rebels
The Greater Western Victoria Rebels is an Australian rules football club which plays in the NAB League, the statewide under-18s competition in Victoria, Australia. Initially known as the Ballarat Rebels and wearing green and gold, the team was established in 1993 as one of four regional under-18s clubs, set up as part of a plan by the AFL Commission to have clubs set in all regions of the state of Victoria. The club became affiliated with the new VFL's North Ballarat Football Club in 1996, and changed its name to North Ballarat Rebels and its colours to black and white to reflect this. In January 2017, the club again changed its name to Greater Western Victoria Rebels to reflect their expanded recruitment zone. Joshua Cowan (born 16 March 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A versatile player, he is able to play in the midfield as well as on the half-back line. Nathan Vardy (born 25 June 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Geelong Falcons
The Geelong Falcons is a youth Australian rules football representative club in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition, Victoria, Australia. The club takes in talented junior players from the Geelong, Colac and Warrnambool regions in order to prepare them for AFL selection. There is an under-15 V-Line cup side and an under-16 side, but the club's main focus is its under-18 side, who play a longer season. In 2007, Jimmy Bartel became the first ex-Falcon to win the AFL Brownlow Medal, for the league's best and fairest player, while Jonathan Brown became the first ex-Falcon to win the Coleman Medal for the most goals in the season. Allen Christensen (born 19 May 1991) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Brisbane Lions and Geelong Cats in the Australian Football League. Early life Born and raised in the Geelong rural suburb of Lara to parents Brendan and Helen, Christensen played junior football with the Lara Football Club, and later the St Mary's Football Club in Darwin as an under-15 and under-16 player while his father coached the senior side for two seasons in 2005 and 2006. Mitchell James Duncan (born 10 June 1991) is an Australian rules footballer for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
