2010 Edmonton Eskimos Season
The Edmonton Eskimos season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 62nd overall. After the Eskimos lost the final game of the season, they were eliminated from playoff contention, despite winning five of their last seven games. This is also the first time since 2004 that a 92nd Grey Cup, Grey Cup host city has failed to qualify for the playoffs. Richie Hall
Richie Hall (born October 4, 1960) is a defensive assistant coach for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played professionally as a Canadian football defensive back for nine seasons for the Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders where he was a CFL All-Star in 1983 and a four-time divisional All-Star. He is a five-time Grey Cup champion, once as a player and four times as a defensive coordinator. He was formerly the head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos from 2009 to 2010. Andre Talbot
Andre Talbot (born May 3, 1978) is a former professional wide receiver and slotback who played gridiron football in the Canadian Football League. Talbot played his first nine seasons in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and his tenth season with the Edmonton Eskimos. Football career Talbot played high school football at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School in Oshawa. He later played university football at Wilfrid Laurier University where he was a two time All-Canadian and was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in 2001. On February 10, 2010, Talbot was traded from the Argonauts to the Eskimos along with receiver Brad Smith in exchange for defensive tackle Eric Taylor. Cory Watson (born March 27, 1984) is a wide receivers coach for the Concordia Stingers of U Sports football. He was formerly a professional Canadian football wide receiver who was drafted ninth overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2010 CFL Draft and played for five seasons with the club.
