2009–10 Championnat De France Amateur
The 2009–10 Championnat de France Amateurs season was the 12th edition of the competition since its establishment. The competition officially began on 8 August 2009 and ended in May 2010. The competition consisted of 73 clubs spread into four parallel groups of 18 with one of the groups containing 19 clubs. It is open to reserve teams in France and amateur clubs in France, although only the amateur clubs are eligible for promotion to the Championnat National. The highest-placed amateur team in each pool are promoted, replaced by the four lowest-placed in the Championnat. DNGC Rulings All clubs that secured CFA status for the 2009–10 season were subject to approval by the Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion, DNCG before becoming eligible to participate.The DNCG is responsible for overseeing the legal and financial accounts of professional and amateur football clubs in France. The league serves as the fourth tier of French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Championnat National. Contested by 48 clubs, the Championnat National 2 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National and Championnat National 3, the fifth division of French football. Seasons run from August to May, with teams in the three groups playing 30 games each. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. Play is regularly suspended the last weekend before Christmas for two weeks before returning in the second week of January. Vesoul Haute-Saône
Football Club de Vesoul is a French association football team founded in 1921. They are based in Vesoul, France and are currently playing in the sixth tier Régional 1. They play at the Stade René Hologne (Vesoul), Stade René Hologne in Vesoul, which has a capacity of 6,000. History Founded in 1921 as ''Racing Club Vésulien'', the club took the name ''US Vesoul''. FC Libourne Saint-Seurin
Football Club Libourne, formerly known as AS Libourne or Libourne Saint-Seurin-sur-L'Isle, is a French football team from the town of Libourne in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The club plays in the Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of French football. History The club was founded by Georges Kany in 1935 as Football Club Libourne. The 2010–11 Championnat de France amateur was the 13th edition since its establishment. SR Colmar, Colmar were the 2009–10 Championnat de France amateur, defending champions. Due to the elongated appeals process involving each clubs' eligibility, the groups and fixtures were unveiled to the public on 15 July 2010 and the season began on 7 August and ended on 28 May 2011. The winter break was in effect between 18 December and 15 January 2011.
