2009–10 Challenge De France
The 2009–10 Challenge de France is the ninth season of the French cup competition for women, organized by the French Football Federation. The competition is open to all women's clubs in French football. The final will be contested on 23 May 2010 at the Stade Robert-Bobin. The defending champions were Montpellier, who defeated Le Mans 3–1 in the 2008–09 edition of the competition. On 23 May 2010, Division 1 Féminine club Paris Saint-Germain won the competition by defeating fellow first division club Montpellier by a score of 5–0 in the final. Montpellier Hérault Sport Club Féminines (; commonly referred to as simply Montpellier) is a French women's football club based in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, a commune in the arrondissement of Montpellier. The club was founded in 1990. Montpellier play in the Division 1 Féminine having finished in 4th place in the 2009–10 season. The club is currently managed by Frédéric Mendy. Montpellier hosts its home matches at the Stade Joseph-Blanc, a 1,000-capacity stadium that is situated in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 Issy (commonly known as GPSO 92 Issy or simply Issy) are a French women's football team based in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The club currently compete in Division 2 Féminine, the Second Division of women's football in France. The team was founded in 1997 as EuroPeru, and was known as FF Issy from 2001 until 2020. History GPSO 92 Issy were founded in 1997 by three Peruvian sisters, Edith, Merylin and Mercedes Bohorquez, under the name ''EuroPeru''. The team initially consisted of 20 players from the local Peruvian community, and they played at the Stade Jean-Bouin in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
