2009 PBA Draft
The 2009 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) rookie draft was an event at which teams drafted players from the amateur ranks. The event was held at Market! Market! in Taguig on August 2, 2009. The Burger King Whoppers selected Japeth Aguilar of the Ateneo de Manila University and Western Kentucky University as the number one draft pick. Players applied for the draft had undergone a three-day rookie camp. This is the only draft wherein a draft pick held by a defunct franchise was not retained by a new team which purchased that franchise (the second overall pick originally held by Shell was not inherited by Rain or Shine). 2009–10 PBA Season
The 2009–10 PBA season was the 35th season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The season formally opened on October 11, 2009, and ended on August 18, 2010. The league started the season with the Philippine Cup, or the traditional All-Filipino Conference, while finishing the season with the import-laiden Fiesta Conference. The 2009 PBA Draft was held on August 2, 2009, at the Market! Market!, and Japeth Aguilar was selected first overall by the Air21 Express. Shell Turbo Chargers
The Shell Turbo Chargers were a Philippine Basketball Association team from 1985 to 2005. It won four PBA championships, two from 1998 to 1999. Shell sold its franchise to PBL team Welcoat Dragons, Welcoat Paints in February 2006. Small Forward

Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Barako Bull Energy Boosters (2000–11)
The Barako Bull Energy Boosters were a professional basketball team of the Philippine Basketball Association owned by the Photokina Marketing Corporation. They entered the league in 2000, after a successful stint in the semi-professional Philippine Basketball League during the late 1990s. Under the name Agfa Color, the team won a championship in 1996. It was originally known as the Red Bull Barako before the team announced its name change. Barako Bull has won two Commissioner's Cups, in 2001 and in 2002 and the 2006 Fiesta Conference.
