The 2007–08 Tulane Green Wave women's basketball team represented Tulane University in the 2007–08 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Green Wave were coached by Lisa Stockton. The Green Wave are a member of Conference USA and attempted to win the Conference USA Tournament. Fogelman Arena
Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse is a 4,100-seat, multi-purpose arena built in 1933 on Tulane University's Uptown campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since its opening, it has been home to the Tulane Green Wave men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team. Devlin is the 9th-oldest continuously active basketball venue in the nation. Tulane Gym and Fogelman Arena eras Construction of Tulane Gym began in 1931 with funds earned from the football team's appearance in the 1932 Rose Bowl, and as a result it was known for many years around campus as "Rose Bowl Gym." The gym was the site of the 1942 NCAA basketball tournament East Regional games, won by the Dartmouth Indians. The Tulane Boxing team held matches in the gymnasium. Lisa Stockton
Lisa Dawn Stockton (born April 1, 1964) is a former American college basketball coach. She was the women's basketball head coach at Tulane University, born in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was named the Green Wave's 6th head basketball coach in 1994. As the winningest coach in Conference USA, she was named 2006–07 C-USA Coach of the Year, a distinction she again earned for the 2009–10 season. Stockton announced her retirement following the 2023–24 basketball season. High school career At Western Guilford High School, where Stockton graduated in 1982, she was all-conference four times and conference player of the year her senior year. College career At Wake Forest, Stockton played women's basketball from 1983 to 1986. She scored 1,347 career points, ranking ninth on the program's all-time list.
