2007–08 Ohio Bobcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Ohio Bobcats men's basketball team represented Ohio University in the college basketball season of 2007–08. The team was coached by Tim O'Shea and played their home games at the Convocation Center. They finished the season 20–13 and 9–7 in MAC play to finish tied for third in the MAC East. After the season O'Shea left Ohio for a position at his alma-mater. Roster Coaching staff Preseason The preseason poll was announced by the league office on October 18, 2007. Tim O'Shea
Tim O'Shea (born January 13, 1962) is an American college basketball coach, most recently the head coach of the Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball, men's basketball team at Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball, Bryant University. He was previously the head coach at Ohio Bobcats men's basketball, Ohio University. Playing career Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, O'Shea earned All-America accolades while playing at Wayland High School in Wayland, Massachusetts. He played college basketball at Boston College Eagles men's basketball, Boston College from 1980 to 1984 under Gary Williams. During his time at BC, O'Shea and the Eagles won two Big East regular-season titles. O'Shea also earned four postseason tournament berths during his career, with BC advancing twice to the NCAA tournament NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, Sweet Sixteen and once to the Elite Eight. Leon Vernon Williams Jr. (born July 24, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Busan KCC Egis of the Korean Basketball League (KBL). 2007–08 Eastern Michigan Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball team represented Eastern Michigan University during the 2007–08 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by 3rd year head coach Charles E. Ramsey, played their home games at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center and were members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. 2007–08 Western Michigan Broncos Men's Basketball Team
The 2007–08 Western Michigan Broncos men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Broncos, 20–12 overall and 12–4 in the conference, captured the MAC West Division championship by four games and earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. WMU reached the semi-finals of the MAC tournament before falling to No. 3 seed Akron. During the regular season, Western Michigan defeated No. 25 ranked Davidson College, a team that reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament.
