2007–08 FAW Premier Cup
The 2007–08 FAW Premier Cup was the 11th season of the tournament since its founding in 1997. Newport County were the eventual winners, beating Llanelli 1–0 in the final to win the competition for the first time in the club's history. To date, the season remains the last time the tournament was played after the BBC withdrew sponsorship in 2008. Haverfordwest ( , ; ) is the county town of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and the most populous urban area in Pembrokeshire with a population of 14,596 in 2011. Stebonheath Park
Stebonheath Park (''Welsh language, Welsh: Parc Stebonheath'') is a multi-use stadium in Llanelli, West Wales with a capacity of 3,700. It is primarily used as a Association football, football ground and is the home of Llanelli Town A.F.C. It was also used for athletics and Llanelli Amateur Athletic Club (Llanelli AAC) were based at the stadium. It is owned by Llanelli Town Council. From 2015 West Wales Raiders rugby league club used the stadium for their debut season in the Conference League South and subsequent season in the RFL League 1 until the club withdrew from the league in December 2022. Christopher Holloway (born 5 February 1980) is a Welsh footballer. He was born in Swansea. Rhys Griffiths (footballer)
Rhys Griffiths (born 1 March 1980) is a Welsh footballer and manager of Cymru Premier side Penybont. An aggressive target man and goal-getter, Rhys dominated the Welsh Premier scoring charts for the best part of a decade. Although he boasts the best goal scoring ratio, Rhys is second in the all-time list of Welsh Premier League scorers with 271 goals in 343 appearances, 47 behind Marc Lloyd Williams. He finished as top scorer in seven consecutive seasons, and was included in the Welsh Premier League's team of the season six times. The only three-time winner of the league's Player of the Year award, Griffiths was capped six times by Wales at semi-professional level. Stuart Jones (born 14 March 1984) is a Welsh football coach and former footballer who played as a defender. He was most recently a coach at Cymru Premier club Aberystwyth Town. Career A product of the Swansea City youth development system, Jones made his first-team debut on 22 October 2002 in a 2–1 defeat to Stevenage Borough in the Football League Trophy. He made over 30 appearances for the Swans between 2003 and 2005 but moved on at the end of the 2004–05 season. In 2005, he joined Llanelli, becoming the club's first full-time player since the Jock Stein era in the 1950s. At Llanelli, Jones was voted into the Welsh Premier team of the season for the 2007–8, 2008–9 seasons, 2010–11, 2011–12. Charlie Griffin
Charles John Griffin (born 25 June 1979) is an English former professional footballer. Griffin started his career with Bristol Rovers, spending two years at the club and progressing through the club's youth system. He was released at the age of 18 and played part-time football with Chippenham Town for a season. He attracted the attention of Swindon Town in February 1999, signing for the club for a transfer fee of £10,000.
