In 1955, Pakistan's first television showcase occurred near Mazar-e-Quaid on September 16, organized by the American consulate in Karachi. Manay Na Ye Dil
''Manay Na Ye Dil'' (lit: The heart does not accept) is a Pakistani television series that aired on Hum TV and is directed by Babar Javed. The story is based on the emotional conflicts of four people who feel powerless to control their feelings. Plot Zainab, an orphan who has been raised by her aunt, has since childhood been in love with her aunt's son, Sheheryar. Sheheryar ends up in an arranged marriage with Rubab, a selfish woman and the complete opposite of what Sheheryar expects in a wife. When Rubab aborts their child, Sheheryar loses his mind and in deep depression, he becomes involved with Roshni, a prostitute. Sheheryar falls in love with Roshni, but his mother manipulates the situation in such a way that Zainab and Sheheryar get married. Sheheryar, however, does not forget his love and goes in search of Roshni. He finds that Roshni is happily married to another man in Australia with a son. Hum TV HD is a 24-hour Urdu general entertainment TV channel based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi. It is owned by Hum Network Limited and traded on the Pakistan Stock Exchange as (HUMNL). Hum Network Limited was known as ''Eye Television Network Limited'' prior to 21 January 2011. Aurat Aur Char Devari
Zafar Mairaj (Urdu, Balochi, Brahui: ; born 11 October 1968) is a Pakistani drama writer, lyricist and short story writer. He primarily writes in Urdu but has also written in Brahui and Balochi. He has written more than 50 drama serials, plays and telefilms for PTV and private television networks, such as Aaj TV, Indus TV, Geo Entertainment, ARY Digital and Hum TV. Dawn News
Dawn News HD is a Pakistani 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test transmission of the station occurred on 25 May 2007, and the channel went live on 23 July 2007. Originally broadcast in English, on 15 May 2010, Dawn News converted into an Urdu news channel after successful test transmission of four hours a day. Khyber News
Khyber TV, formerly known as AVT Khyber, is a Pashto-language satellite television channel in Pakistan, which was launched in July 2004. It is Pakistan’s first Pashto language television channel. The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, providing educational, news, variety shows, dramas, and entertainment programs to the Pashto-speaking population of Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as those living in the Middle East, Europe and Australia.
